Dr. Shelby L. Knight

After nearly twelve years as the associate dentist at South Austin Family Dental, Dr. Knight purchased the practice in January of 2020. His time as an associate allowed him to establish valuable lasting relationships with his patients and he greatly appreciates the trust they have in his work and professional judgement. Dr. Knight received his undergraduate degree from Southwestern University in Georgetown, and his dental degree in 2008 from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School. He lives in South Austin and enjoys listening to live music, collecting vinyl, woodworking, and traveling. He is thrilled to finally work with his sister, Dr Miranda Torrey.

Dr. Miranda E. Torrey

Dr. Miranda Torrey was raised in Pearland, Texas. She attended Louisiana Tech University on a softball scholarship and majored in Biology. After earning her Bachelor of Science degree, she continued her education at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School. She graduated in 2005 with the degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Torrey and her husband have one son, Luke, and two daughters, Quinn and Amelia. She is overjoyed to have joined her brother, Dr. Knight at South Austin Family Dental. Dr. Torrey enjoys all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry and hopes to provide a relaxed atmosphere for her patients.
